During the scorching summer months, the relentless Texas sun can take a toll. To help our client fully enjoy their pool area—even on the hottest days—we designed and built a stunning custom pergola to offer some much-needed shade and comfort. More than just a visual centerpiece, this grand pergola is fully equipped with thoughtful features that turn the space into an outdoor oasis.
It includes a large ceiling fan for airflow, an outdoor kitchen with a built-in sink, and a custom barbecue pit—making it perfect for cooking, entertaining, or simply relaxing with friends and family. Beneath the pergola, we created a cozy, shaded seating area ideal for enjoying a freshly grilled meal or unwinding by the pool with a cool drink in hand.
To take things a step further, we also added a charming gazebo by the poolside. This secondary shaded area creates an additional retreat from the sun, offering another peaceful spot to relax, dine, or simply take in the view.
Together, the pergola and gazebo transform the backyard into a space that’s not only beautiful but functional year-round—providing comfort, shade, and style no matter the season.
